Protocol 02 — How We Use Your Data
Your data is used for the following purposes:
- Service Provision — To operate and maintain the platform, process generations, and deliver AI companion interactions.
- Personalization — To customize your experience, remember preferences, and improve AI response quality.
- Security & Safety — To detect fraud, prevent abuse, enforce our terms, and protect our community.
- Communication — To send service updates, security alerts, and (with consent) promotional materials.
- Analytics — To understand usage patterns and improve our services through aggregated, anonymized data.
Protocol 03 — AI Training Policy
Your Content Is Not Used For Training
Lucid Dreamz does NOT use your private conversations, generated images, or personal content to train or improve our AI models. Your creative outputs remain private.
We may use the following for service improvement:
- • Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics (e.g., feature popularity)
- • Error logs and crash reports to fix technical issues
- • Content flagged for safety review (to improve content filtering)

Protocol 04 — Data Storage & Security

- • Account data: Retained while your account is active
- • Generated content: Retained for 90 days after creation, unless saved to your gallery
- • Chat logs: Retained for 30 days unless conversation is saved
- • Deleted account data: Permanently removed within 30 days of deletion request

Protocol 06 — Your Privacy Rights
You maintain full sovereign control over your identity. Through your Control Panel, you can:

Protocol 08 — Children's Privacy
Lucid Dreamz is strictly an adult platform (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will immediately delete that information and terminate the associated account. If you believe a minor has accessed our platform, please contact us immediately at safety@luciddreamz.app.
Protocol 09 — International Data Transfers
Lucid Dreamz operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your residence, including the United States.
Where we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by relevant data protection authorities, to protect your information in compliance with applicable laws.
Protocol 10 — Regulatory Compliance
GDPR (EU/EEA)
For EU/EEA users, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation. You have rights to access, rectification, erasure, data portability, and to object to processing. Our lawful basis for processing includes consent, contract performance, and legitimate interests.
CCPA (California)
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and sold, the right to delete, and the right to opt-out of sale. We do not sell your personal information.
